Do the installers need to be present?

It depends on the circumstances, but typically they aren’t required to be present.

How long does an inspection take?

Depending on the product, residential inspections usually take between 30 minutes to 2 hours. Commercial inspections may last from 30 minutes to several hours.

Will you be removing any flooring?

Typically, inspections are done utilizing the non-destructive method, and most issue can be determined without removing the floor. However, on occasion destructive testing may be required. Destructive test will require permission from all interested parties and an installer would need to be present to replace and make safe any flooring that was removed.

Do you share your findings?

The report and the information contained in it is the sole property of the commissioning party. Permission by the commissioning party would be required in order to share any findings.
